GREAT KAROO NATURAL LAMB
Lamb Stew Potjie
Hearty and delicious potjie.
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 g lamb stew meat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 15 ml grape seed oil
- 5 carrots, peeled and cut into rings
- 1 potato, peeled and cubed
- 500 grams green beans, chopped
Leeks
- 1 butternut, peeled and cubed
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Fry onions in a little bit of oil in the pot.
2) Add stewing meat and seal for 5 minutes.
3) Cook for 1 hour (or steam in a pressure cooker)
4) Add all the vegetables.
5) Simmer for another half an hour.
