Lamb Spare Rib in Sticky Sauce

A family favourite.  Perfect with wild rice and roasted vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:
- Ribs

SAUCE FOR RIBS:
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 250 ml of tomato sauce
- 30 ml sugar
- 100 ml chutney
- 30 ml sugar
- 60 ml vinegar
- 15 ml Worcester sauce
- 250 ml apricot jam
- 5 ml mustard
- Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Fry onion in a little bit of oil or butter until golden brown
2) Add the rest of the ingredients
3) Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat
4) Pour over the ribs
5) Bake in a covered casserole in the oven for 2 hours at 180°C
